Roast Turkey with Gravy
Portion Size: 3 oz. turkey, 2 T. gravy

| 12 Pound whole turkey | Thawed |
| Seasonings of choice: salt, pepper, garlic powder, seasoning salt, etc. | |

| 1/4 Cup drippings | |
| 3 Tablespoons flour | |
| Salt and pepper to taste | |
| 2 Cups chicken reduced sodium stock or water | |
| Cooked giblets (optional) | Chopped |

| 1 | Preheat oven to 450 degrees. | |
| 2 | Trim all visible fat from turkey. | |
| 3 | Place turkey on a rack and season well .Do not cover and do not add liquid. | |
| 4 | Immediately reduce heat to 350 degrees. Roast for approximately 3 1/4 to 3 3/4 hours. | Internal temperature must reach 165 degrees. Serves 8 |
