Pork Chops With Lemon Herb Sauce

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

Ingredients Notes: 
 3 lbs. boneless pork chops, (8 chops)Trim all visible fat
1 teaspoon saltTo taste
½ teaspoon black pepperTo taste
3 Tablespoons olive oilAs needed.
1 cup light cream cheese
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 teaspoon low sodium chicken granules
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup water

1Season chops with salt and pepper.
2Heat 3 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Brown chops, 7-8 minutes per side.Cook until internal temperature reaches 145° F for 15 seconds.
3In a bowl combine cream cheese, granules, water, parsley and lemon. Stir to make a slurry. Stir in sauce. Pour over pork chops. Simmer until thick and bubbly.
