Pork Chops With Honey Garlic Sauce

Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

Ingredients Notes: 
3 lbs. boneless pork chops, (8 chops)Trim all visible fat
1 teaspoon saltTo taste
½ teaspoon black pepperTo taste
3 Tablespoons olive oilAs needed.
½ cup honey
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
½ cup light soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch plus 1 tablespoon water.

1Season chops with salt and pepper.
2Heat 3 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Brown chops, 7-8 minutes per side.Cook until internal temperature reaches 145° F for 15 seconds.
3In a bowl combine cornstarch and water. Stir to make a slurry. Stir in honey, garlic, vinegar and soy sauce. Pour over pork chops. Simmer until thick and bubbly.
