Pork Chop in Sour Cream
Portion Size: 3 oz. boneless, 5 oz. with bone

| 8 boneless pork chops, ½ inch thick | Trim all visible fat |
| 1 Tablespoon oil | |
| 2 cups sliced onion | Washed, peeled and sliced |
| 2 garlic gloves, minced | Washed, peeled and minced |
| 1 teaspoon dill seed | |
| 1 teaspoon caraway seeds | |
| 2 teaspoons paprika | |
| 1 teaspoon salt | |
| 1 cup water | |
| 2 cups light sour cream |

| 1 | In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. | |
| 2 | Brown chops and season with salt and pepper. | |
| 3 | Cook chops on both sides, turning only for about 8-9 minutes total. Add onion, garlic, seasonings and water. | Cook to 145 °F for 15 seconds. |
| 4 | Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover tightly and simmer until tender about 1 hour. | |
| 5 | Slowly stir in sour cream and heat for about 5 minutes. Serve hot. |
