Italian Sausage White Bean Soup

| 2 pounds lean sweet Italian sausage (turkey) | Use bulk |
| 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour | |
| 6 cups low sodium chicken broth | Or 6 t. low sodium chicken granules and 6 cups water. |
| 2 can (15 oz.) white beans drained | |
| 1 lb. chopped baby spinach or kale | |
| 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning | |
| 14 oz. can nonfat evaporated milk |

| 1 | In a stock pot, brown Italian sausage. Drain fat. Sprinkle in flour. Toss to coat. | |
| 2 | Add broth, beans, Italian seasoning and milk. Bring to a boil. Lower to simmer. Simmer for 20-30 minutes. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F. |
