Rice Pilaf with Pine Nuts and Green Onion

4 Cups chicken broth or bouillon
3 Tablespoon margarine
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1/2 Cups sliced greens
2 Cups long grain rice
½ cup pine nuts
Melt margarine in 3 quart saucepan over medium high heat. Cook rice, ½ cup green onions and the nuts in the margarine for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in broth, pepper and salt. Heat to boiling stirring occasionally; reduce heat; Cover and simmer until water evaporates and rice is tender. Cover and let stand five minutes. Serves 8.
