Baked Dressing
Portion Size: ½ cup
Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

| 1 cup celery | Washed and finely chopped |
| 1 large onion | Washed and finely chopped |
| 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil | |
| 6 cups seasoned bread cubes (stuffing mix) | |
| 2 cups low sodium chicken broth | |
| 1 ½ teaspoons poultry seasoning | |
| 1 teaspoon sage |

| 1 | Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). | |
| 2 | Add oil or butter in a skillet and heat to medium high heat. Place celery and onions in the skillet. | |
| 3 | Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. | |
| 4 | Drain and set aside. | |
| 5 | In a large bowl combine celery mixture with bread crumbs, chicken broth, poultry seasoning and sage. | |
| 6 | Mix well and transfer to a baking dish. | |
| 7 | Bake, covered, for 45 minutes or until well set and cooked through. | Internal temperature 135 F. |
