Barbeque Sauce

Portion Size: 2 tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
3/4 cup water 
2/3 cup (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/3 cup loosely packed parsley leaves Or 2 tablespoons dried parsley
1/4 cup chopped onionWashed, peeled and finely chopped
1 large clove garlicWashed, peeled and minced
1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
 
For gluten free: Omit Worcestershire sauce. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1In blender container or food processor, combine water, tomato paste, parsley, onion, garlic, sugar, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt.  
2Blend until smooth. Refrigerate.  Makes about 2 cups
