Broccoli and Apple Salad

Portion Size: 1/2 cup

Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
4 cups fresh broccoli floweretsWashed, trimmed and chopped
1 large red appleWashed, trimmed  and chopped
¼ cup red onionWashed, trimmed, peeled and diced
1/3 cup raisins
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
¼ cup sunflower seeds

1In a large bowl combine, black pepper, salt, vinegar, olive oil and honey.  Stir
2Add broccoli, apple, onion, and raisins. 
3Toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve. 
4To serve, toss to coat and top with sunflower seeds
