French Dip Sandwich

Portion Size: 1 Sandwich 

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
8 Small French RollsMay use whole grain
1 pound cooked and sliced lean deli roast beef
8 oz. Shredded Low Fat Mozzarella Cheese
14 oz. can reduced sodium beef broth 
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
½ teaspoon garlic powder
For gluten free (GF): Use GF soy sauce, GF broth and GF rolls. Check all ingredients to be sure they are gluten free.


Steps:Directions: Critical Control Point /Quality Assurance
1In a sauce pan heat beef broth, soy sauce and garlic. Heat over medium high heat until boils. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes
2Add beef to broth and heat through. Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds
3Place 2 oz. beef on each roll. Top with cheese. Serve immediately
