Fresh Fruit Cup

Portion Size: 1/2 cup

Ingredients Notes: 
4 cups of diced or cut up fresh fruitUse any combination or your favorite fresh fruits in season. Two to six different types of fruit work best. Use different colors, textures, and shapes for more variety. Choose from: apples, apricots, grapes, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, pears, peaches, prunes, tangerines, blueberries, cantaloupes, cherries, bananas, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, raisins, kiwi, watermelon etc. Be creative.
 
This is a gluten free recipe. Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free.

1Add 2 tablespoons orange, lemon, or lime juice (to prevent browning) fruit in a large bowl. May add optional ingredients as listed below. Wash all fruit before cutting. Remove seeds and pits. Peel grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, cantaloupe, bananas, tangerines, kiwi, watermelon or other non edible peelings. 
2Zest from lemon, lime or orange (optional)
32 teaspoons sugar or honey (optional)
4Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
51/4 cup of finely chopped nuts (optional)
6Mix fruit, juice, and sugar. Serve chilled.Discard if not consumed.
