Fresh Salsa

Portion Size: 2 tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 3 cups

1 pound fresh ripe tomatoes Washed, seeded and chopped
1 onion, choppedWashed, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, mincedWashed, peeled and minced
1 (4-ounce) can green chilies, choppedDrained.
1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded, deveined, and minced or1/4 to 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper(optional)
Juice of 1 limeWashed and juiced
2 tablespoons white or red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)Washed, trimmed and chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground oregano (optional)
