Oven Baked BBQ Chicken
Portion Size: 6 oz. chicken with bones and sauce or 4 oz. boneless with sauce

| 4 1/2-5 lbs. chicken, pieces | |
| 1/2 cup all-purpose flour | |
| 1 teaspoon salt | |
| 1/2 teaspoon pepper | |
| 1/4 cup margarine | |
| 1 bottle prepared BBQ sauce | Or may use recipe in cookbook for BBQ sauce |

| 1 | Wash and dry chicken pieces. Combine flour, salt, and pepper; place in a bag with chicken. Shake to coat chicken. | |
| 2 | Melt margarine in a baking pan in a 425-degree oven. Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in the pan in a single layer. | |
| 3 | Bake for 45 minutes; pour off fat and turn. | |
| 4 | Spoon BBQ sauce over chicken; bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes longer or until tender. Baste with sauce while baking. | Cook until chicken internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. |
