Raison Sauce

Portion Size: 2 Tablespoons

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

1/2 cup brown sugar 
2 tablespoons cornstarch 

1 teaspoon mustard powder 

1 tablespoon white vinegar 

1/4 teaspoon grated lemon zest 


1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 ½ cups water

1 cup raisins

Directions:

1In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, cornstarch and mustard powder.
2Slowly stir in vinegar, then add raisins, lemon zest, lemon juice and water. 
3Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Serve warm.
