Reuben Sandwiches
Portion Size: 1 sandwich (2 slices bread, 2 oz. corned beef, 2 T. sauerkraut, 1 oz. Swiss Cheese, 1 T. dressing)

16 Slices rye bread | |
1 pound thinly sliced lean corned beef | |
1 cup sauerkraut, drained | |
8 Slices Lowfat Swiss cheese | |
3/4 cup Reduced fat Russian or thousand island dressing | |
Margarine |
Check all ingredients to be sure they are gluten free.

1 | Preheat oven to 400 degree oven | |
2 | Lightly spread margarine on one side only of bread | |
3 | Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. (Margarine needs to be on the outside of the bread) | |
4 | Spread thousand island dressing on cheese | |
5 | Wrap in foil and heat in oven until cheese is heated through | |
6 | You may also grill this sandwich under the broiler or brown in skillet |
