Sesame Noodles
Portion Size: ½ cup

| 1 (16 oz.) package whole grain linguine pasta | May use whole grain |
| 3 cloves garlic | Washed, peeled and minced |
| 3 tablespoons sugar | |
| ¼ cup tablespoons safflower oil or olive | |
| ¼ cup rice vinegar | |
| ¼ cup lite soy sauce | |
| 1 tablespoon sesame oil | |
| 1 teaspoon chili sauce | |
| 6 green onions | Washed, trimmed and sliced very thin |

| 1 | Bring a pot of lightly salted water to boil. | |
| 2 | Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. | |
| 3 | Drain and transfer to a serving bowl. | |
| 4 | Meanwhile, place a saucepan over medium-high heat. | |
| 5 | Stir in garlic, sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and chili sauce. | |
| 6 | Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. | Internal temperature 135 F. |
| 7 | Pour sauce over linguine, and toss to coat. | |
| 8 | Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. |
