Sesame Noodles

Portion Size: ½ cup

1 (16 oz.) package whole grain linguine pastaMay use whole grain
3 cloves garlicWashed, peeled and minced
3 tablespoons sugar 
¼ cup tablespoons safflower oil or olive 
¼ cup rice vinegar 
¼ cup lite soy sauce 
1 tablespoon sesame oil 
1 teaspoon chili sauce 
6 green onionsWashed, trimmed and sliced very thin

1Bring a pot of lightly salted water to boil. 
2Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. 
3Drain and transfer to a serving bowl. 
4Meanwhile, place a saucepan over medium-high heat. 
5Stir in garlic, sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and chili sauce. 
6Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.Internal temperature 135 F.
7Pour sauce over linguine, and toss to coat. 
8Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
