Sweet and Sour Cabbage

Portion Size: ½ cup cabbage

Ingredients Notes: 
4 slices bacon
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ cup vinegar
½ cup water
1 small onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 small head cabbageWashed, cored and shredded. May be used with green or red cabbage.

1In a large skillet, fry bacon and onion.  Do not drain the grease.
2Add cornstarch, vinegar, and water.  
3Chop cabbage.  Add to skillet mixture.  Cook until tender on medium heat.  Cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F for 15 seconds.
