Beef Tips and Noodles (meatless)

Portion Size: ½ cup beef tips and ½ cup noodles

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
16 oz. package of noodlesFor vegan: use vegan pasta
2 1/2 lb. imitation beef chunks 
1 can evaporated fat free milk For vegan: use soy milk
2 tablespoons all purpose flour 
1 onion, chopped Wash, peel and chop
2 gloves garlic, mincedWash, peel and mince
1 (8oz) package fresh sliced mushroomsWash, trim and slice
2 cups reduced sodium  vegan beef broth 
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2In a baking pan, combine the milk, beef broth, garlic, mushrooms, flour and onion.
3Mix thoroughly with beef tips. 
4Bake in oven for 1 hour.Cook until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees for 15 seconds
5Cook pasta according to directions on package. Drain.
6Serve beef tips and sauce over noodles
