Broccoli Cheese Quiche (not vegan)

Portion Size: 1/8 pie

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
6 Eggs*May use 1 ½ cup egg substitute
1/2 Cup  nonfat milk 
Pinch of nutmeg
1 Package frozen, chopped broccoliCooked
1 Cup shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
Unbaked deep dish pie shell

1Beat eggs and milk.  
2Add pinch of nutmeg.  
3Layer broccoli and cheese in unbaked pie shell.  
4Pour egg mixture over broccoli.  
5Bake at 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.  
6Reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook until custard is set. About 35 to 45 minutes
