Porcupine Meat Balls

| 1 teaspoon salt | |
| 2 tablespoons minced onion | Wash, peel and mince |
| 1/2 cup cooked rice | May use brown rice |
| 1/2 teaspoon pepper | |
| 2 cans low sodium tomato sauce | |
| 1 teaspoon basil | |
| 1 tablespoon sugar | |
| 1 teaspoon garlic powder | |
| 1 teaspoon oregano |

| 1 | Combine meat, salt, pepper, and onion. | |
| 2 | Shape into balls. | |
| 3 | Brown in a skillet. | |
| 4 | Drain fat. | |
