1 | In a saucepan combine sugar and cocoa. | |
2 | Stir in the water. | |
3 | Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. | |
4 | Cook 1 minute longer. | |
5 | Stir in milk. Heat just to the boiling point; do not boil. | |
6 | Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Beat with a rotary beater till frothy. | |
7 | Serve in cups or mugs; Top with marshmallows or whipped cream if desired. |
