Rice Pilaf with Pine Nuts and Green Onion

| ½ cups sliced green onions | Washed |

| 1 | Heat olive oil in 3-quart saucepan over medium high heat. | |
| 2 | Cook rice, ½ cup green onions and the nuts in the olive oil for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. | |
| 3 | Stir in broth, pepper and salt. | |
| 4 | Heat to coiling stirring occasionally; reduce heat; cover and simmer until water evaporates and rice is tender. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F. |
