Corn on the Cob

1 | Remove husks and silk from corn and wash. | |
2 | Put ear of corn into large kettle of cold water, making sure all ears are covered with water. | |
3 | Bring to boil. | |
4 | Simmer ten minutes. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F. |
5 | Remove from water and season with margarine, salt, and pepper. |
