Green Bean Casserole

Portion Size: ½ cup green beans

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
2 (20 ounce) cans French style green beans
1 (10¾ ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 package frozen French fried onions


Steps:Directions: Critical Control Point /Quality Assurance
1Place the beans in a baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.  
2Spoon soup over beans, making a smooth layer.
3Place onion evenly over the top.  
4Bake in 300°F oven for 30 to 40 minutes.Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F.

Variation: Fresh or frozen string beans can be steamed, braised, microwaved, roasted, stir fry. May add choice of herbs or spices for flavor. 

Green Beans with Almonds: Sauté Green beans and top with ¼ cup roasted slivered almonds.
