Oven Baked Tangy Chicken

Portion Size: 6 oz. chicken with bones and sauce or 4 oz. boneless chicken with sauce

Ingredients: Yields: 8 servings

Ingredients Notes: 
4 1/2-5 lbs. chicken, pieces
1 cup apricot or apricot pineapple preserves
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 bottle (8 oz.) light Russian salad dressing
For gluten free (GF): Use GF salad dressing. Omit the onion soup mix. Add 1/4 c. minced onion.
Always check each ingredient to be sure it is gluten free

1Place preserves, salad dressing and soup mix in a small bowl; mix thoroughly.
2Dip chicken pieces in mixture; place on a foil lined baking sheet.
3Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.Cook until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
