Stewed Tomatoes

Portion Size: ½ cup tomatoes

2 large cans no added salt tomatoes, diced
1 cup celery Washed, trimmed and diced
½ cup onionWashed, peeled and diced
¼ cup green bell pepperWashed trimmed and diced
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 tablespoon white sugar

1In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomatoes, celery, onion, bell pepper, basil and sugar.
2Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F.
