Green Bean Casserole

1 (10¾ ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted | |
1 package frozen French fried onions |

1 | Place the beans in a baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray. | |
2 | Spoon soup over beans, making a smooth layer. | |
3 | Place onion evenly over the top. | |
4 | Bake in 300°F oven for 30 to 40 minutes. | Cook until internal temperature reaches 135°F. |
Variation: Fresh or frozen string beans can be steamed, braised, microwaved, roasted, stir fry. May add choice of herbs or spices for flavor.
Green Beans with Almonds: Sauté Green beans and top with ¼ cup roasted slivered almonds.
